Have you ever seen people at your gym rolling around on the mats on something that looks like it belongs in a kiddie yoga class? Do you stare at them as they roll baaaack and forth jealous that you’re getting on the treadmill because, well, you know how to use it? TA DA! That right there is the foam roller, folks.
Foam rolling, or self-myofascial release, is like a deep tissue massage for pre and post workout muscle recovery.
