We’re excited to announce a new integration with the Pebble Smartwatch! Pebble began as an idea on Kickstarter, and quickly grew to be one of the most popular smartwatches around. Pebble puts specific apps and notifications on your wrist, giving you immediate access to what’s most important. In our growing community – that includes fitness!
With this new partnership, you can now view workout stats from your phone directly on your wrist. The Pebble also acts as a remote control for your phone’s music player; if you’re not feeling a track in your workout mix, simply push a button to skip to the next song. All it takes is a few simple steps to set-up and you’re on your way towards a hands-free workout.
How to connect:
1.) Within your phone’s settings, enable Bluetooth, and your Pebble smartwatch will appear in devices. Select ‘connect’ and make sure your Pebble is in pairing mode. You can learn how to do that here. Once paired, your Pebble device will display “Connected.”
2.) Once paired with your iPhone or Android phone, start your workout to view time, distance and pace from the MapMyFitness app displayed on the watch. You can also start and stop your workout from your wrist. No other set-up is required!
We know that your workout is important, but with the Pebble, also see who is calling or get the most important emails and texts without having to pull your phone out in the middle of your next meeting, dinner, movie – whatever!
The Pebble is compatible with the devices such as iPhone 4S, 5, 5S, Samsung Galaxy 3, 4, Note 3 and HTC One (must be running latest Android 4.3 operating system for supported devices).
