Run the New York City Marathon

This Sunday more than 47,000 people will cross the finish line at the ING New York City Marathon. Two million spectators, along with a worldwide television audience of 315 million, will watch the largest one-day live sporting event in the world. We want to wish every runner good luck this weekend! This world-class event is no easy fete – and if you’re tackling this course, you’re already a winner in our minds.

So what does this kind of foot traffic look like? We pulled the data of one day in New York City to better capture all of the activity and this is what it looks like.
